KETER, Léonard de Vinci Group
Challenge
During a selling operation in 2006, the Keter Asset Management company, acting for investment funds, commissioned Bureau Veritas to evaluate numerous sites in France. The property portfolio consisted of office, industrial and commercial buildings.
Mission
This evaluation contained several types of mission:
- technical due diligence for fire safety with financial assessment of conformity-driven renovations
- diagnosis of soil pollution and ICPE regulations conformity
- inventory of natural and technological risks
- diagnoses for termites, asbestos and legionnaire's disease
The deliverables, all in English, were expected within a very short timeframe. Furthermore, a technical support document was established to answer questions of potential investors or investment consulting companies.
Benefits
We provided Keter with a report accompanied by a complementary economic study which allows the company to value its assets and proceed with negotiations effectively.
The second contract - 1st quarter 2007
This operation was followed by a second contract with a similar scope (except for the technical diagnosis) for another investment fund concerning other assets in France.
